I have been experimenting with Fabric Formed Concrete as a way of producing pieces and have just taken this out of the mould. I was inspired when I met Professor Remo Pedreschi at the Department of Architecture at Edinburgh University earlier this year. They are doing fascinating research into the use of Fabric Formed Concrete in architecture and have lots of examples and trials in the research studios.
My piece has still to be finished on the surface and will be mounted onto railway sleepers. It will be displayed at the Scottish Sculpture Park at Caol Ruadh, nr Dunoon.
