Collecting
This work is around the idea of collections. I have been inspired by the process of beachcombing. I am intrigued by the stories that these part objects tell, once functional but now displaced and fragmented. In a sense the process of creating these archaeological artefacts is connected to sifting through thoughts in my mind as I walk.  Both feel like meditative experiences. I have been inspired by museum collections of artifacts.
